Paraglider Pilot Rescued

(HAILEY, ID)  —  A British paraglider who went missing during a competition near Hailey over the weekend has been found. 49-year-old Guy Anderson, who officials described as an “elite pilot with a good sense of aviation,” spent two nights in a remote central Idaho canyon after crashing Saturday. Anderson was a participant in the Paragliding World Cup and had a 60-mile planned flight from Ketchum to Arco. Anderson is being treated for serious injuries to his arm, spine, ribs, and and possible internal injuries
