“Premium Rush,” “The Apparition” Open Nationwide

— Premium Rush: Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a Manhattan bike messenger whose life is in danger, thanks to an envelope he carries that’s sought after by an evil cop. Michael Shannon and Dania Ramirez also star. Rated PG-13. [Click here to read a review]
— The Apparition: Twilight actress Ashley Greene and Captain America actor Sebastian Stan play a couple haunted by a supernatural force created during a university experiment gone wrong. Harry Potter actor Tom Felton also stars. Rated PG-13.
And expanding into wide release:
— 2016: Obama’s America: In this right-leaning documentary, filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza, a policy analyst during the Reagan administration, explores President Obama’s roots and what America will be like over the next four years if Obama is re-elected this November. Rated PG.
