(CANTON, Ohio) — Former New York Jets running back Curtis Martin was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Saturday night.
Martin played 11 years in the NFL for the Jets and New England Patriots, rushing for 14,101 yards and 90 touchdowns on 3,518 carries.
“Out of all the things I achieved,” Martin said. “One of the things that I’ve learned is that it’s not necessarily what you achieved in life that matters most, but it’s who you become in the process of those achievements that really matters.”
Linemen Willie Roaf, Chris Doleman, Cortez Kennedy and Dermontti Dawson along with cornerback Jack Butler were also inducted Saturday night.
