(LOS ANGELES) — It’s more bad news for actress Kristen Stewart. On the heels of an embarrassing cheating scandal, the actress may be out when it comes to a Snow White and the Huntsman sequel.
Stewart publicly apologized for cheating on boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson with Snow White director Rupert Sanders after photos of the affair surfaced last month.
Now The Hollywood Reporter says plans for a Snow White sequel are being scrapped — and instead, Universal will make a spinoff sequel starring the huntsman himself, played by The Avengers‘ Chris Hemsworth.
While it’s not clear why Stewart is being shown the door, Sanders will still direct the Huntsman spinoff, a source tells The Hollywood Reporter. The Los Angeles Times is refuting the story, however.
