RG3 Solid in Redskins Debut
Published at(ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.) — Robert Griffin III made his preseason debut Thursday night in the Redskins 7-6 victory over the Buffalo Bills.
Griffin started the game, playing three series, completed 4 of 6 passes for 70 yards, one touchdown and had a fumble.
“Practice is a lot harder then the games,” Griffin said afterwards. “It’s kind of the same way in college, but even more so in the pros.”
“Our defense was definitely on top of a lot of stuff we were doing in practice. You come out to the game and you can see all the reads a lot clearer. I felt like I was able to read things a lot cleaner, and get the ball out of my hands,” he continued.
Next up for the Redskins, a trip to Chicago to take on the Bears on August 18.
