(WIMBLEDON, England) — Serena and Venus Williams won the women’s doubles title at the London Games Sunday, defeating Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.
It’s the third time the Williams sisters have won the Olympic gold medal (2000 and 2008) in doubles, and the seventh time that an American duo has won the title.
On Saturday, Serena became just the second woman in history to win the Golden Slam, when she defeated Maria Sharapova in straight sets to take home the gold in women’s singles.
