“I plan on being there unless an act of God doesn’t allow me to,” the fourth-ranked Williams said Monday on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Williams and her sister Venus picked up double’s gold on Sunday to complete the London Games sweep and still feels she can compete at the highest level, even at the age of 30. Twenty-seven-year-old Michael Phelps, the 18-time gold medalist, has said that these London Games would be the last of his competition career.

“When I feel I can’t be the greatest I shouldn’t play anymore, but I feel I belong. I’m not tired. I’m enjoying myself,” said Williams.

Williams joined Steffi Graff as the only other Women’s player to complete a golden slam and will compete in the U.S. Open later this month.
