Sex Offender Gets Prison For Failing to Register

(POCATELLO) – A Pocatello man is headed to prison after failing to register as a sex offender when he moved out of state. 55-year-old David Leon Munday will spend 51 months in prison followed by another 15 years of supervised release. Munday was a person of interest in the sexual assault of two minors last September, but moved to Kentucky before police to further interview him. Federal authorities arrested Munday in February after discovering that he never contacted Kentucky authorities about his new address.
