Steel Plant Could Bring 150+ Jobs to East Idaho

(IDAHO FALLS) – A Georgia-based steel company could bring over 150 jobs to eastern Idaho. Cives Steel, which creates steel products for large construction jobs, will likely build their new plant along Yellowstone Highway near Ucon. Officials say that if plans are approved, the company could lay a foundation as early as mid-October. If completed, it would be the first Cives Steel plant west of the Mississippi.
