( BLACKFOOT ) —   A search for a Bingham County dog ends in a triple  tragedy.  There are still alot of questions surrounding the deadly accident, but here is what we know so far. 31 year old Jacquelyn Poulsen went looking for her dog. When she did’nt retun her  neighbors  started looking for her.  Authorities say Poulsen  jumped into  the canal  to save her dog  and  the two of them were electrocuted.    Michael Lance Hicks, 41, of Blackfoot and Preston Keith Tarpley, 49,   jumped in  the water to rescue Poulsen and they were also  electrocuted. An irrigation pump in the area apparently shorted out electrifying the water.  Idaho Power Company responded and shut off all power before rescuers could enter the water and recover the bodies. Poulsen was a Track and Field coach at Idaho State University. A full investigation is underway.
