ABC News(NEW YORK) — Police have released 911 tapes of a New Jersey supermarket shooting that left two Pathmark employees dead on Aug. 31.

“Old Bridge Pathmark…guy with a shotgun. He’s blowing the place apart… Send as many people as possible,” one caller whispered.

They’re filled with panicked whispers and new details of what happened before and during the incident.

Terence Tyler, 23, fired as many as 20 shots at his fellow employees at a closed Pathmark supermarket in Old Bridge, N.J. before turning the gun on himself at around 4 a.m. He had worked at the store for two weeks.

Another caller said Tyler “seemed very angry” that night. He left the store and re-entered wearing camouflage and carrying an AK-47, which is an automatic handgun.

“He can find me. He can find me,” another caller is heard saying on the tape.

Tyler had been discharged from the marines after grieving his mother’s death and battling depression. He was dead when police arrived.

According to callers on the tape, they fled to storage areas and the commuter parking lot.

Tyler’s victims each died of a single gunshot wound. They were Christina Lobrutto, 18, and Bryan Breen, 24.

“This is the worst phone call a mayor can receive,” Mayor Owen Henry told The Star-Ledger newspaper that day of the information he obtained at about 6:30 a.m. “You can prepare for these things, but you can’t prevent them.”
