(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  — Americans for Prosperity, the nation’s leading grassroots advocate for economic freedom and limited government, is bringing the “Obama’s Failing Agenda Bus Tour” to Idaho Falls this Friday at 4 p.m. at the Melaleuca office located at 3910 S. Yellowstone Highway. The public is invited to join a free rally that discusses economic freedom, limited government and less regulation, while offering individuals a meaningful opportunity to volunteer to make a difference right here in Idaho.

The “Obama’s Failing America” bus tour, which began with three wrapped buses in Florida on Aug. 27, is crisscrossing the nation. It travels to more than 400 cities across America and educates tens of thousands of people about President Obama’s failed economic policies.

The bus tour and rally focus on a health care takeover burdening Americans with over $500 billion in new taxes, four straight years of spending trillions of dollars that Americans don’t  have, 42 straight months of unemployment above 8 percent and billions wasted on green energy companies like Solyndra that went bankrupt.

At Friday’s rally, people can put grassroots pressure on President Obama by signing a nationwide petition, receive tools to effectively educate others about Obama’s failing agenda and learn how they can take an active role to put our country back on a path to prosperity.

Specifically, they’ll learn about and have an opportunity to volunteer using the organization’s freedom phone system that allows individual callers to make a substantial amount of calls in a short amount of time. It is not uncommon for a volunteer calling into the system for one hour to reach over 100 individuals.

“This bus tour and the freedom phones program will give concerned Americans the opportunity to do something about President Obama’s failing agenda,” said Tim Phillips, President of Americans for Prosperity. “Americans are tired of sitting on the sidelines while Washington spends away our future and drives us deeper into debt. This gives them a way to respond.”
