(KABUL, Afghanistan) — Around a thousand people came out Monday morning on Kabul Jalalabad highway demonstrating against the anti-Islam film, Innocence of Muslims.
Protesters were armed and police feared violence would erupt. Kabul Police were on the scene and tried to push the crowd back before getting into the city.
The demonstrators burned two police vehicles, and some shots were fired in the air by police to control them.
