Biker Hurt in Pocatello Crash

(POCATELLO) – A biker was airlifted to a Utah hospital following an accident in Pocatello Wednesday evening. Investigators say the accident happened at around 5:30 p.m. when a driver entered the intersection of Philbin Road and U.S. Hwy. 30. The driver, Marian J. Shappart, crashed into a motorcycle driven by Daryl D. Shelley. The biker was transported to Portneuf Medical Center and later moved to a hospital in Salt Lake City. He remains in serious condition. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
