Blake Lively Celebrates Wedding on “Gossip Girl” Set

Theo Wargo/Getty Images for Target(NEW YORK) — When Blake Lively returned to work on Monday on the set of Gossip Girl she was congratulated by her co-workers on her marriage to Ryan Reynolds, reports People.com. The cast even did a faux Champagne toast to the newlyweds using ginger ale.
A source told People one of the show’s producers proclaimed, “Someone got hitched!! Mazel tov!” Lively responded, “I know, I heard. Thank you so much!”
The couple had their wedding ceremony in South Carolina on September 9, but the couple was not legally married until September 14, according to People.com. Reynolds and Lively applied for a marriage license on September 13, and were legally married the next day because the law requires that a couple wait 24 hours after filing for a marriage license for it to be issued.
The magazine also reports that guests who attended the couple’s wedding ceremony were asked to sign non-disclosure agreements, and no cell phones were permitted at the event.
