Cardinals And LB Washington Agree To Six-Year Contract

Christian Petersen/Getty Images(TEMPE, Ariz.) -- The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to a new six-year contract with linebacker Daryl Washington, which will keep him in the desert through the 2017 season. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 25-year-old Washington was drafted by the Cardinals in the second round of the 2010 NFL draft out of TCU.

In 31 games with Arizona, Washington has recorded 184 total tackles along with six sacks and three interceptions.  He led the team last season in tackles with 111.
