(BLACKFOOT) – A task force responsible for finding the cause of an electrocution that killed three people near Blackfoot last week has released a preliminary report. Regional electrical inspector Chris Jensen determined that the irrigation ditch had become electrified when a ground wire between a transformer pole and a service pole broke. Repairs by Idaho Power crews are ongoing. Funeral services for ISU assistant track coach Jackie Poulson were held Wednesday at Holt Arena. Services for the other two victims, Michael Lance Hicks and Keith Tarpley, are scheduled for today and tomorrow.
