Although according to Johson, his struggles from last season and this year so far are not his fault.

Just three seasons ago, Johnson earned the nickname “CJ2K” after he ran for 2,006 yards and emerged as one of the best players in pro football. Johnson decided to holdout last summer because he wanted a new contract. Johnson wound up signing a four-year contract worth $53 million.

Johnson got his money, but his numbers have been in sharp decline since. Johnson barely reached the 1,000 yard mark last season and this year he has just 21 rushing yards on 19 carries.

“I woulnd’t sit here and say I’m to blame. I wouldn’t think so, but I’m not the guy to sit here and be the guy that points fingers and things like that,” Johnson said. “It’s just the situation where I’m going to be only as good as my line’s going to be. So we’ve go to work together and get better together.”

This Sunday, the Titans will face the Detroit Lions who have the 17th ranked run defense in the NFL.
