“Dancing with the Stars” Judge Carrie Ann Inaba Breaks Off Engagement

Jason Merritt/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — Carrie Ann Inaba will enter the new season of Dancing with the Stars as a single woman.
The 40-year-old lone female judge on the ABC competition is no longer engaged to her fiancé, accountant Jesse Sloan, 44, who popped the question on Live! With Regis and Kelly in March of 2011.
Inaba’s representative Susan Madore confirmed the split with ABC News Tuesday.
“They decided early in the summer to break off their engagement and have remained friends,” she told People magazine.
Inaba, a dancer, choreographer, actress and hostess, will return to ABC when Dancing with the Stars kicks off its all-star season Sept. 24.
