Dennis Quaid Sued After Horse Accident

Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Dennis Quaid is being sued by a horseman who claimed he was severely injured on the actor’s former California property some time ago. Quoting an article in the Palisades Post, TMZ reports 70-year-old Lester Wood got Quaid’s permission to use his horse trail but the ride was cut short when sprinklers activated, spooking the horse, which reared up and crushed Wood underneath it.
Wood said he nearly died from a series of injuries, racking up a half million dollars in medical bills; the gossip site says Wood blames the design of the trail, which Quaid no longer owns, for the accident.
