Funerals Announced for Electrocution Victims

(POCATELLO, ID) — The funeral of an ISU Track and Field coach who was electrocuted along with two others last week is scheduled for today. Jackie Poulson’s funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Holt Arena. Keith Tarpley’s funeral is scheduled for Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot. The family of Lance Hicks is planning a “celebration of life” on Friday, though the time and place have not been announced. All three were killed last week when they tried to rescue a dog from a canal. An irrigation pump nearby had shorted out, electrifying the water. The incident is still being investigated.
