Gas Prices: Is Relief in Sight?

Jupiterimages/Thinkstock(WASHINGTON) — The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is above $3.80 across much of the country, and today’s report from the U.S. Energy Department is expected to show yet another weekly rise.
The good news, however, is that analysts expect the end of the summer driving season could bring motorists some much needed relief at the pump.
The latest government figures are expected to be released later Monday afternoon.
