Running back Andre Brown, who filled in for injured starter Ahmad Bradshaw, rushed for 113 yards, on 20 carries and scored two touchdowns in the win.

“I thought Andre ran the ball very well,” Giants quarterback Eli Manning said. “He broke a couple big ones early on, which is nice. I think that was going to be their game plan…Carolinas’…was to play to high and run the force us to run the ball. And when we can run the ball our offense really starts clicking.”

The game didn’t go as well for the opposing offense. The Panthers committed five turnovers, three of which were quarterback Cam Newton interceptions.

Newton was embarrassed.

“Who wants to support something that puts on a performance of an embarrassment,” Newton said when talking about the fans. “That’s what that was tonight.”
