“Hotel Transylvania,” “Looper” and “Won’t Back Down” Open Friday

* Hotel Transylvania — Adam Sandler voices Dracula, who runs a resort for monsters like Frankenstein. The resort holds a 118th-birthday celebration for Dracula’s daughter, and it takes an interesting turn when a male human shows up. Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Andy Samberg, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, Fran Drescher and Cee Lo Green also lend their voices to this animated film, which is screening in 3D. Rated PG.

* Looper — Joseph Gordon-Levitt is an assassin for the mob whose victims are transported to him from 30 years into the future. Things get complicated when his future self, played by Bruce Willis, is marked for death. Emily Blunt and Paul Dano also star. Rated R.

* Won’t Back Down — Viola Davis and Maggie Gyllenhaal play two concerned mothers who seek to reform their kids’ inner-city school. Rated PG.
