(FLORHAM PARK, N.J.) — New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis will miss the remainder of the season after tearing the ACL in his left knee during Sunday’s victory over the Miami Dolphins.
The four-time Pro Bowler underwent an MRI Monday, which revealed the injury. The Jets say Revis will wait a few weeks before undergoing surgery.
“I know the way Darrelle is, that this is a guy that is competitive as it gets,” Jets head coach Rex Ryan said. “I don’t think there is any doubt he’s going to come back strong from it.”
In two games this season Revis had 11 total tackles and one interception.
