Revis missed last Sunday’s Jets loss to the Steelers due to a concussion he suffered in the season opener.  Jets head coach Rex Ryan said the Jets’ medical staff will have the final call but he hopes to see Revis on the field.

“I can say that I expect him to play,” Ryan said on Thursday, “but I’m going to lean on the doctors and trainers.”

“I think you feel good when you have the best player on the field; that can’t hurt you,” Ryan said. “They’ve got some great players over on Miami … but there’s only one Darrelle Revis. I know I feel great about it. It’s hard not to smile. You feel great as a playcaller.”

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger passed for 275 yards and two touchdowns on the Jets secondary with Revis sidelined last weekend.
