Kings of Leon to Join Music City Walk of Fame

Jason Merritt/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Kings of Leon will soon get a star on Nashville’s version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The band will receive the 61st star on the Music City Walk of Fame in an induction ceremony September 21 at 1 p.m. ET.
“Kings of Leon was created and discovered in Nashville, and the band still proudly calls the city home,” said Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau president and CEO Butch Spyridon in a statement. “They are a perfect example of what this project is all about — local musicians who transcend genre to produce great music loved by all.”
The ceremony, which is free and open to public, will take place at Walk of Fame Park, across the street from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
