But impounding Bynes’ car wasn’t sufficient punishment, at least according to fellow former child star Lindsay Lohan.

“Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?” Lohan tweeted Sunday, apparently referring to Bynes.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel ordered Bynes, 26, on Wednesday not to drive without a valid driver’s license, the court confirmed to ABC News. Revel was the judge who sentenced Lohan to 90 days in jail in 2010 after she violated her probation from a DUI charge.

Lohan, 26, spent 84 minutes in jail in 2007 after she plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of being under the influence of cocaine, no contest to two counts of driving while intoxicated and one count of reckless driving. That year she was also sentenced to three years of probation but requested a one-year extension after failing to complete her alcohol-related courses on time. In 2010, she was sentenced to 90 days in jail followed by 90 days in-patient rehab for failing to attend court-ordered alcohol education classes as a result of her 2007 DUI conviction.

Bynes has had several driving incidents of her own in the last few months. The most recent occurred on Sept. 9 when the actress was pulled over by Los Angeles police for driving without her lights on, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Bynes was charged earlier this month with two misdemeanor counts of hit and run after allegedly crashing into a car and fleeing the scene twice in the span of five months.

Bynes’ next hearing is set for Sept. 21, although she does not have to appear in court because her charge is only a misdemeanor, the D.A.’s office said.
