“Lindsay was treated and released, and is doing fine,” her rep Steve Honig told ABC News in an email, adding that she was treated for asthma.

Lohan has had an eventful time in the Big Apple.

Last week, she was charged with a hit-and-run for allegedly striking 34-year-old restaurant cook Jose Rodriguez with her Porsche, according to WABC-TV.

Lohan’s publicist called the furor over the actress’ hit-and-run “much ado about nothing.”

“While some of the facts are still being gathered, it appears that this is much ado about nothing,” Lohan’s publicist said in an email to ABC News. “We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the coming weeks, and the claims being made against Lindsay will be proven untrue.”

The trailer for her new film, Liz & Dick, was released last week.

In the trailer, Lohan, who plays legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor, is seen drinking, fighting and smoking. The movie is set to premiere on Lifetime in November.
