Machado And The Orioles Sweep The Rays Out Of Baltimore

Christian Petersen/Getty Images(BALTIMORE) — Orioles third baseman Manny Machado singled home Adam Jones in the bottom of the 14th inning to give Baltimore a 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday and a three-game sweep.
The Orioles improved to 81-62 on the season, ending their franchise record of 14 consecutive losing seasons.
The Birds are looking to clinch their first postseason berth since 1997.
