(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  —   After four years of vacancy, the Marriott Residence Inn off Broadway in Idaho Falls is open for business.  The project was stalled amid budgeting problems, leading to several lawsuits from contractors and others involved in the building’s construction. The five-story hotel has more than 100 rooms designed for long-term visitors, the second one of its kind in Idaho Falls.

This hotel is gorgeous inside and out. The spa area is like a resort. Koodos to the developers or owners who had the moxi to stick with it, despite the economic challenges we’ve all experienced. And whoever built the large buildings south of the hotel, and the waterfall with the birds, and the pier that reaches out over the river, and the gardens in the park by this hotel, etc have some real vision. It’s changed your city for the good. Way good! We’ll be back. John & Nancy Smith
