Mel Gibson’s Ex Getting Chunk of His Retirement Nest Egg, Too

Mike Marsland/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — It was widely suspected that Mel Gibson’s divorce from his wife Robyn Moore in 2011 would cost him dearly, but now the dissolution of their 31-year marriage has a clearer pricetag.
Because the pair had no prenup, it was reported Moore would get half of Gibson’s said-to-be $800 million net worth. But TMZ now reports Gibson’s ex is getting a chunk of his retirement benefits as well.
The gossip site says Gibson’s pensions from both the Screen Actors Guild and the Directors Guild of of America will also be split, with Moore getting “a large portion” of that dough as well.
The pair separated in 2006, though Moore formally filed for divorce in April of 2009, and the paperwork was finalized in December of 2011.
