Motorcyclist is Killed After Hitting Deer

(FIRTH, ID)  —  A Bingham County man was killed after striking a deer with his motorcycle Friday night.  Idaho State Police say 42-year-old Arnold Gene Taylor was traveling north on US Highway 91 near Firth at around 9:30 pm when he hit the deer. Authorities say Taylor was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene. Traffic was diverted for about an hour while police conducted an investigation.
