New Signs Seek to Reduce Moose-Vehicle Collisions

(JACKSON, Wyo.) – The Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation is trying to reduce the number of collisions between moose and vehicles. The organization has purchased two fixed radar-enabled signs that will be placed along Highway 390. The signs have proven track record of keeping traffic at safer speeds, reducing the risks facing wildlife and drivers. Last year when similar signs were placed in Grand Teton National Park, wildlife collisions dropped 36 percent.
