‘Obama Girl’ Returns, Kind Of

Barckobama.com/Hemera/Thinkstock(WASHINGTON) — A new Obama Girl video –“Still Got a Crush on Obama” — was released this morning.
If Obama Girl looks different but sounds the same, that’s because Leah Kauffman — the original singer/songwriter behind the 2008 “Crush on Obama” song and video — actually stars in this one. Last time Kauffman and partner Ben Relles, who is not involved with this new video, hired a model, Amber Lee Ettinger, to lip-synch the song. This year Kauffman steps center-stage.
“You didn’t get the change you wanted to,” Kauffman sings in the new video. “But here’s your chance.”
