Peyton Manning, Broncos Looking to Rebound Against Texans

Doug Pensinger/Getty Images(DENVER) — After taking a rough Week Two loss on Monday night to the Atlanta Falcons, the Denver Broncos will look to improve their record to 2-1 on Sunday against the Houston Texans.
Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning was 24-37 for 241 yards and one touchdown in the 27-21 loss on Monday, but he tells fans to give his team a chance to jell.
“We’re still learning about each other, we’re playing different opponents each week, different types of defenses,” Manning said on Thursday. “As we are continuing to learn, the key is you want to win games while you continue to learn.”
Manning will have to prepare for a defense that features defensive end J.J. Watt, linebacker Brian Cushing, and cornerback Johnathan Joseph come Sunday.
“It will be important for our team to bounce back against a quality opponent,” Manning said.
The Texans are looking to go 3-0 to kick off the season.
