Report: Dennis Hopper’s 9-Year-Old Daughter Inherits $2.85 Million from Actor’s Estate
(NEW YORK) -- Dennis Hopper’s 9-year-old daughter has inherited $2.85 million from the actor’s estate, despite the fact he was not legally divorced from the girl’s mom, Victoria Duffy, at the time of his death TMZ.com reports.
Hopper was in the midst of a bitter divorce from Duffy when he died of prostate cancer in May 2010 at the age of 74. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the couple’s 9-year-old daughter receives $2.85 million in cash plus $600,000 worth of property, while Duffy receives nothing, thanks to a solid pre-nup agreement.
The website reports the inheritance has been placed in a trust for the little girl, and Duffy has no control or access to the money.
Hopper was married a total of five times and had four children in all.
