Sally Struthers Arrested for Driving Under the Influence
(OGUNQUIT, Maine) -- Former All in the Family actress Sally Struthers was arrested Thursday morning in Ogunquit, Maine, about 40 miles south of Portland, for allegedly operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, according to police.
The 65-year-old Struthers was charged with OUI, or operating under the influence, a misdemeanor. She was released on $160 cash bail, and a court date was set for December.
Struthers has been appearing in the musical 9 to 5 at the The Ogunquit Playhouse.
A rep for the actress told People.com, "Sally is working and she is fine and she loves The Ogunquit Playhouse and her yearly time in Ogunquit. We deny these charges."
All in the Family aired on CBS from 1971 to 1979. Struthers played Gloria Stivic, Archie Bunker’s daughter, who was married to Rob Reiner’s character Michael Stivic.
