The Philadelphia Phillies (65-70) doubled up the Cincinnati Reds (82-54), 4-2.

The Houston Astros (42-93) downed the Pittsburgh Pirates (70-64), 5-1.

The St. Louis Cardinals (73-62) took care of the New York Mets (64-71), 5-4.

The Los Angeles Dodgers (73-63) edged theSan Diego Padres (62-74) in 11 innings, 4-3.

The Cleveland Indians (57-78) tamed the Detroit Tigers (72-62), 3-2.

Golf: Rory McIlroy won the Deutsche Bank Championship Monday by one stroke over Louis Oosthuizen. It's his third PGA tour victory of the year. Tiger Woods finished in third, becoming the first golfer to surpass the $100 million dollar mark on the tour.
