While other shows have reports of offstage fights among cast members, Modern Family star Sofia Vergara insists that isn’t the case on the ABC hit.

“I don’t think anyone has ever had a fight in the three seasons that we’ve been together,” Vergara told Good Morning America’s Lara Spencer. “We’re always together. It’s been amazing. The kids love each other. It’s been like a dream. I get along with Julie, I love Julie.”

At the Emmys on Sept. 23, Julie Bowen, who plays Claire on the ABC hit, won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, beating Vergara. It was Bowen’s second Emmy win. During her acceptance speech, Bowen said, “Sofia, man, I know you’re younger than me but I wanna be you when I grow up.”

“I keep telling her. Why does she need two, give me one at least,” Vergara told Spencer, laughing. “But she’s amazing and she deserves it. I mean she’s an important part of the show as we all are. So if she wins, it’s like I win.”

But Vergara didn’t leave the Emmys without honors. During the award show’s red carpet, fans voted for People magazine’s “TV’s Sexiest Woman.” Not surprisingly, she won.
