Source Says Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra Are “Just Friends”

ABC/ RON TOM(NEW YORK) — Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra have sparked dating rumors, according to E!. The pair was spotted dining together at a West Hollywood restaurant over the weekend, but it looks like the liaison may not have been a romantic one.
A source tells E!, “A big group of friends had dinner on Saturday night at Cecconi’s.” The insider says Simon and Carmen “are just friends from the U.K. and the U.S. They have known each other a while and she guest judged on Britain’s Got Talent.”
Cowell and Electra were pictured leaving the restaurant together in a black Rolls-Royce, after posing for pictures. A representative for the restaurant and Carmen Electra both turned down requests by E! for comment.
