(POCATELLO, ID)  —   The Pocatello office of the Idaho Food-bank got a hefty donation from area steelworkers Tuesday. Members of Local Union 632 of the United Steelworkers presented a $5,000 check to benefit the Food-bank’s backpack program. The program is designed to ensure that young kids from low-income families get meals over the weekend when they might otherwise go hungry. The funds will be uses to support more than 20 kids through the school year.
