(HAMPTON, Ga.) — NASCAR Nationwide driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. took home the checkered flag in Saturday night’s running of the NRA American Warrior 300 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Stenhouse took the lead on the final lap, when Kevin Harvick’s car came loose coming out of Turn 2. Brad Keselowski then came up with the assist, bumping Stenhouse to the head of the pack on Turn 3.
“He gave us the top, he wanted the bottom,” Stenhouse said of passing Harvick. “Then the 22 gave us a good push down the front straightaway. Kevin gave us the top again and didn’t slow our momentum up. Definitely paid off for us.”
It’s Stenhouse’s fourth victory of the season.
