(JALALABAD, Afghanistan) — As many as 25 civilians were killed when a suicide attacker blew himself up at a funeral Tuesday in eastern Afghanistan, a local government spokesman said.
The French news agency AFP reports that the suicide bomber was targeting the district governor, who was one of at least 36 people injured in the attack.
