(BOISE, ID)  —   The state Department of Education is delaying the release of data telling teachers whether they’ve earned a bonus under Idaho’s new merit pay system. The agency says the information was due to be released Sept. 1, but is delaying to give school districts more time to appeal student achievement results until this week. The bonus payout is scheduled for Nov. 15, just nine days after Idaho’s education reforms will face a voter referendum.
