Woman Finds Ex-Boyfriend in Attic

Jeffrey Hamilton/Thinkstock(WASHINGTON) — An ex-boyfriend from 12 years ago came back to haunt a woman – literally.
The victim, a 41-year-old woman from Rock Hill, S.C., who asked that she only be identified as Tracy, said she heard strange noises and noticed nails were coming through her ceiling when she returned home last Saturday, according to a police report.
As Tracy used her laptop in her bedroom that night, she couldn’t shake the feeling that “something just ain’t right,” she told the Charlotte Observer.
When she awoke during the night, she told the newspaper she thought “there was some poltergeist stuff going on.”
Tracy’s cousin went to investigate upstairs in the attic, where he found her ex-boyfriend, who was not identified in the police report. The suspect had been able to see through vents in the ceiling into Tracy’s bedroom, according to reports.
The ex fled the scene on foot and is still at large.
It is believed he had been sneaking into the attic for the past two weeks when Tracy and her five children were not home, according to the police report.
Tracy said she plans to press charges.
