(NEW YORK) — Make way for Bette Midler on Glee. It appears she’s agreed to a guest role on the Fox series.
Glee creator Ryan Murphy says on Twitter that he invited Midler onto his show while sharing the stage with her at God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards in New York on Monday night. He adds, “Bette said yes! Amazing. I am plotting … who should she play?”
Midler provides a possible clue on her own Twitter feed, writing, “I have one vote for Rachel’s grandmother … hmmmm. I’m thinking, I’m thinking!!” Rachel is Lea Michele’s character, who’s trying to make it in New York.
