The bus overturned on the Exit 53 ramp off Route 80 East at 7:43 a.m., ABC News New York station WABC reported.

There were no fatalities reported and responders removed all passengers who were trapped inside the bus.

Three of the injured were taken to Saint Joseph’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The rest of the passengers were treated at the scene.

The bus went off the road into a marshy area before it overturned. It is unclear if another vehicle was involved. There was a minor fuel and anti-freeze spill from the bus.

The ramp is currently closed and traffic delays are expected.

Passengers told the Star-Ledger newspaper that the bus was heading to a Seventh Day Adventist church event in Brooklyn.

Police are still investigating what caused the crash.
