The last time the two teams met, the Heat won a decisive Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals.

A lot has changed since that game. The Celtics signed guards Jason Terry and Courtney Lee, and Jeff Green has returned from heart surgery. As for the Heat, they have signed former Celtic Ray Allen, a move that has caused quite a bit of animosity between Allen and his former team.

Still, Celtics forward Paul Pierce knows it’s time to move on. “We’re not going to make this into a Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Rondo thing.” Pierce said. “Right now my focus is playing in the game tomorrow versus the Miami Heat. Everything that has happened has already happened. You know, he’s here…he’s happy to be here and you wish him the best for his family and his situation. But I’m more focused in on the Boston Celtics.”

The Celtics and Heat will tip off in Miami Tuesday night, at approximately 8 p.m Eastern.
