Chubbuck Man Dies in Fort Hall Crash

(FORT HALL) – A Chubbuck man has died following a two-car crash in Fort Hall Sunday night. Police say 54-year-old Kevin Smith, a passenger in one of the vehicles, died at the intersection of Mission and Simplot roads. 30-year-old Samuel Haroldsen of Pocatello reportedly failed to stop at the intersection and slammed into the passenger side of an eastbound car. Haroldsen and his passenger were unhurt, though the driver of the other car was taken by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. An investigation is ongoing.
